In 2005, a1 Training was created as a division of a1 Security to ensure all a1 Security staff complied with the new Private Security Industry Act 2001, which came into force in 2006, stating that no front line security officer can work without a licence.

a1 Security has expanded, and in 2009, became an SIA ACS approved contractor for Key Holding, Static Guarding and CCTV. a1 passed the audit with an extremely high score, putting us in the top 10% of Security providers in the UK. The company is also BSI BS EN ISO 9000:2008 in CCTV, Key Holding, Static Guarding and Training.

a1 Security has an enviable reputation for integrity and reliability handling short and long-term contracts for a wide variety of organisations in London and the Home Counties.
