Key Holding and Alarm Response Course
Who is this course for?
This two day course has been designed by a1 Training and accredited by Skills for Security. It will provide you with the necessary
skills to work in key holding & alarm response environments which complies with BS7984:2008, and also meets the SIA Approved Contractor Status. PowerPoint aids and comprehensive handouts accompany each module. Practical exercises and case studies are used to teach the skills and techniques for key holding and alarm response roles.
Course Content:
The course covers four modules, which have been designed to be delivered in their entirety as a two day course or individually to form part of an in-house/bespoke training programme.
The four modules are:
- Procedures, guidelines and reporting
- Communication skills and conflict management
- Dealing with incidents
- Alarm systems and access control
Assessment and certification
Assessment is made at the end of the course via a multiple choice examination. Skills for Security/a1 Training approved trainer certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
